KSF PTO Field Trip Transportation Funding
The Kohler School Friends Committee reviews all requests using the above guidelines and the following objectives from our Mission Statement:
The objectives of the Kohler School Friends are:
- Item requested should be an enhancement to the curriculum not the curriculum itself
- Item requested should be non-disposable
- Item requested should enhance or go hand-in-hand with curriculum
- Item requested should not involve an extra-curricular activity
- Examples of exclusions:
1. Curriculum necessities: without this item, the curriculum/class cannot happen
(KSF PTO deems such items to be the responsibility of the Kohler School District)
2. Periodicals, workbooks, annual fees, etc.
3. Basic supplies such as paper clips, staples, ink, copies, etc.
4. Classroom furnishings such as bookshelves, carpets, etc.
5. Clubs or after-school groups are excluded
KSF PTO Field Trip Transportation Funding
- Field trip should enhance or go hand-in-hand with curriculum
- Field trip should not involve an extra-curricular activity
- Funding is for transportation costs only, and excludes admission fees, tickets, etc.

- To provide support: moral, financial, and volunteer to the Kohler Schools.
- To bring into closer relation the home, the school, and the community so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in education.
