Financial Support and Fundraising
Through the fundraising efforts of the Kohler School Friends PTO, we've been able to provide the staff and students at Kohler Schools with the following during each school year, on average:
$200 annual stipend to each teacher
Approximately $10,000 annually for field trip transportation
Approximately $8,000 in curriculum enhancement materials as requested by our staff
$28,000 in new playground equipment in 2009
$3,500 in educational presentations
Staff Appreciation Week and Luncheon
Complimentary school directory for each household
Welcome breakfast for new school families
Scholarships for students competing in national academic competitions

This is how we are able to provide the items listed above:
Box Tops & Milk Caps
Throughout the year, students can turn these items in to their classroom teacher. The class with
the greatest number of items collected wins a prize at the end of the school year.
Village residents can send items in with an elementary student or drop off at the school.

What would Kohler School do without Kohler School Friends PTO?
Of course we never want to find out the answer to this question! Kohler School Friends PTO provides well over
$20,000 each school year for field trip transportation and teacher wish list items (educational materials for the classroom). These aren't just "extras" but very important pieces of our children's educational experience ... the things that make a Kohler School education exceptional.
To insure that our children continue to receive our support, KSF PTO needs parents like you to get involved. It's never too early or too late ... any parent from JK to 12th grade can offer a hand. It could be a couple of hours at one of our events, joining a committee, or something as simple as mailing out a few letters or making a few phone calls. Together we can accomplish great things!
